The aim of the course is to provide up-to-date information about slags and their behavior in metallurgical processes as well as recycling, utilisation and valorisation of solidified slags. In addition to structure and properties of both molten and solidified slags. the course also focuses on the demands set on different properties by different metallurgical processes and applications. 

The course is intended for experts and students working in operational, R&D and research positions in the metallurgical industry.
